On September 15, registration opens for the International Open Doors Olympiad 2022-2023. It is supported by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
Participants can be foreign citizens, Bachelor degree holders or those completing their studies next year.
You can try your hand at 14 profiles: Business and Management, Biology and Biotechnology, Engineering and Technology, Clinical Medicine and Public Health, Cognitive Neurosciences and Psychology, Computer Sciences and Data Sciences, Linguistics and Literary Studies, Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, Earth Sciences, Education, Political Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemistry and Materials Sciences, Economics and Econometrics.
All stages of the competition are held online in Russian or English to choose from.
Winners and prize-winners will have the opportunity to study free of cost at the best Russian universities.

Indian student Vaishnavi Bagayi is a Master’s student in Cognitive Neuroscience at Ural Federal University. She applied to UrFU through the Open Doors Olympiad and got a chance for tuition-free postgraduate studies (Master’s or PhD) at a Russian university.
"Russian universities are well-respected globally and offer programs that are recognized internationally. Tuition fees in Russia are generally lower than in many other countries, making it an attractive option for students who want to pursue higher education without incurring significant debt, - wrote Vaishnavi. - Ural Federal University offers a wide range of courses providing in-depth knowledge and specialized skills that can be applied in various areas of life. UrFU encourages critical thinking skills through assignments and class discussions. I recommend UrFU for other international students because the university offers high-quality education with experienced and qualified faculty. The city of Ekaterinburg offers a unique blend of history, culture, and beauties of nature.
Ekaterinburg has a range of activities to enjoy: food, sports festivals and diverse cultural institutions and entertainments. After graduation from UrFU, I would like to pursue my PhD in Neuroscience.
