🌅 Golden Gate of Koktebel

In the coastal part of the mountain range called Kara-Dag, which was once an active volcano, there is a rock in the form of an arch. It is called the "Golden Gate". This name is due to the fact that in sunny weather its golden color is clearly visible. It is best to observe this between noon and 3 p.m.

🌅 Золотые Ворота Коктебеля

В прибрежной части горного массива под названием Кара-Даг, который когда-то давно был действующим вулканом, находится скала в виде арки. Ее называют «Золотые Ворота». Такое название связано с тем, что в солнечную погоду хорошо виден её золотой окрас. Лучше всего наблюдать это в промежуток времени с 12:00 до 15:00 часов.

📖 Однако во времена, когда в Крыму жили древние греки, скалу называли «Чертовыми воротами». Считалось, что именно здесь герои мифов спускались в подземное царство мертвых.
