From November 12-14 the International apprenticeship phase of the "For Russian! Volunteer Movement" kicks off!

🇷🇺Thirty talented volunteers will embark on a 30-day journey to spread their passion for the Russian language and culture across ten countries 🌏.

Under the auspices of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs (Rossotrudnichestvo) and Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, volunteers will organize interactive master classes, quizzes, and cultural events for students and schoolchildren.

🎓Prof. Meeta Narain presented her book "Roerich's World of Poetry". This unique publication is a collection of poems by the great Russian artist Nicholas Roerich in Russian translated into Hindi and English accompanied by his paintings carefully selected as illustrations.

🌏Young volunteers from Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Lebanon are now embarking on a 30-day journey to countries across the world, where they'll help raise awareness of the Russian language and culture.

Volunteers will be working in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Egypt, India, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkey, Jordan, and Mongolia, among others.

🤍💙❤The "For Russian!" competition, organized by Rossotrudnichestvo and National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, aims to form a global volunteer movement dedicated to spreading the Russian language and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

💡This program offers participants the chance to grow both personally and creatively, while developing their teamwork skills and tackling exciting, hands-on challenges.

On November 19 Russian House in Chennai conducted a program "Window to Russia" at A.M.M. Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

➡️ Over 100 students learned about the Russian Government Scholarship opportunities and discovered fascinating facts about Russia, its culture, and traditions.

This time at Literature Club at Russian House in Chennai we were talking about the books where the main characters are not people, but the animals! 🐾

✒️Writer, poet, member of the Union of Writers of Russia Alexander P. Bykov shared with us unpublished stories about animals written by him.
Natalia N. Sutyagina, Ph.D of Philological Sciences, made us travel with a cat through the pages of the new Russian novel "Days of Saveliy"🐈‍⬛
Our guests performed songs, recited their own poems.

🫖🍰And Russian tea with herbs was a heartwarming ingredient of this wonderful evening.
