7 декабря в Большом зале Русского Дома в Дар эс Саламе состоялся второй премьерный показ мюзикла, поставленного на языке суахили по сказке "По щучьему веленью".
Перевод и издание этой и других русских народных сказок на суахили осуществлён Представительством Россотрудничества в Танзании в 2022 году.
Первый показ был с успехом представлен в ноябре двум тысячам зрителей на ежегодном Международном арт-фестивале в городе Багамойо на севере страны.
Для постановки мюзикла Русский Дом пригласил труппу молодых актёров "Watashi" во главе с режиссёром Самсоном Таримо. Он представил зрителям русскую сказку в традициях национального сценического искусства Танзании.

📅 On 28th of October, at the 42nd International Festival of Art and Culture in the Tanzanian city of Bagamoyo, the premiere of the play " Without a dowry " in Swahili was held with great success.
🇹🇿 The translation of the play was carried out by the staff of the Russian House, the best translators of the Swahili language - Bernard Sepetu and Rifat Pateev.
The theater troupe "Zazi Productions" comissioned by the Russian House staged the performance based on the play by the great Russian playwriter Alexander Ostrovsky. The artists filled the production with African flavor, which made the performance understandable and interesting to the Tanzanian public.
More than 2000 viewers followed the plot with a throbbing heart, empathizing with the main character. According to the guests and organizers of the Festival, the performance presented by the artists became the most "touching event" of the Festival of arts.
📅 On 1st of December, the performance will take place at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam.
The production was the completion of a large project of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Tanzania dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky.
