🌹 International Women's Day was celebrated at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam 🌹
On 10th of March Russian compatriots, graduates of Russian and Soviet universities came to the Main Hall of the Russian House in Dar es Salaam for a festive evening dedicated to the International Women's Day 💐
The pupils of the school of additional education "Dar Rechi" performed before the guests their best Russian songs, popular to every child in Russia. The guests were shown the touching videos in which the children talked about their mothers and congratulated them on the holiday 👩 🤱
The gift for all guests was the performance of a young, crystal-voiced Russian singer Alice Ignatieva, invited to Tanzania by Russian House in Dar es Salaam 🇷🇺
Alice performed in the original Russian women's outfit of the 19th century and presented the musical culture of Russia in different genres: she performed the folk song "Dropped a ring", the famous Soviet song "Corner of Russia", presented the play "Zavidochka" on a balalaika and sang Tver ditties.
The performance was received with great delight by the audience! 😍
The artist presented a valuable gift to the Russian House - a balalaika, made in the early 60s and invited the audience to her solo concert "Russian Song", which will take place on March 24. 📌
The concert will be attended by Russian guitarist Gleb Laskin, the Choir of the Philharmonic Society of Tanzania, to which Alice is currently conducting master classes.

On 5th of April at the Russian House in Dar za Salaam Tanzanians were able to get acquainted with the real cosmonaut who worked on the International Space Station (ISS) for 6 months and performed EVA (spacewalk).
🪐At the Russian House in Dar es Salaam, the Russian cosmonaut, hero of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 Sergey Kud-Sverchkov gave a lecture "Russia-Africa. Open space" for all who are interested in space.
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tanzania Hon. Andrey Avetisyan delivered a welcoming speech to the guests, noting the importance of such events for Tanzanian youth.
The Main Hall of the Russian House was full of guests - more than 400 people had gathered to listen to the cosmonaut, take pictures with him and take his autograph.
Sergey told the audience about the history of space exploration, about the preparation of cosmonauts for flight, about work and life on the ISS. The cosmonaut shared with the guests the challenges that arise when working in space, and showed a film made by the cosmonauts about the daily activities of the station's crew: the audience saw how the cosmonauts sleep and eat in a state of weightlessness, how they engage themselves in sports and perform unusual experiments.
The guests were shown unique photos of the Earth taken by Sergey from space. 5 photos with views of Tanzania from space were presented to the Russian House in Dar es Salaam.
🪐Everyone can see amazing shots - the photos became part of the space exhibition that opened on April 5 at the Russian Center.
Sergey Kud-Sverchkov arrived in Tanzania as part of a joint media project of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Association for Economic Cooperation with African Countries: "Russia - Africa: Creating the Future Together", which is the winner of the grant competition of the A.M. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund.

The event is organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tanzania (Russian House) and Southwestern State University.
The program includes lectures by Russian specialists in the field of robotics and the leading engineers of technical universities of Russia, master classes on programming and training robots, an exhibition of Russian robots, screening the legendary movie "The Challenge", filmed on the International Space Station (ISS) 🛰
👨🚀The Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, hero of the Russian Federation, who made four space flights, told Tanzanians about robots in space. He personally came to Tanzania for the Forum.
More than 800 Tanzanian schoolchildren and students of technical universities came to see advanced Russian robots in the first two days of the Forum.
