On 11th of May, the Russian-Tanzanian cinema club 🎬🇷🇺🇹🇿 screened the modern Russian film "Nuremberg" (directed by N. Lebedev, 2023).
The theme of the film tells about the Nuremberg trial, the first and key part of a series of trials of war criminals of Nazi Germany, which took place after the end of World War II in 1945-1949.
An international team worked on the film — professionals from Russia, Austria, Germany, Great Britain and France were involved in the process of making the film.
The Ambassador of Russian Federation in Tanzania Hon. Andrey Avetisyan also attended the film show.

On 12th of May, in marking the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) 🌹🕯 in the Main Hall at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam 🇷🇺 a festive concert was held.
🔴The program featured wartime songs performed by students of the School for supplementary education "Dar Rechi", soloists of the Choir of the Tanzanian Philharmonic Society 🇹🇿 students of Russian language courses and invited guests.
🔴The event was attended by Russian compatriots, Tanzanian students, graduates of Soviet and Russian universities, friends of the Russian House, journalists from the Tanzania's main news agencies and TV reporters.
🔴The festive evening was also attended by Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tanzania Hon. Andrey Avetisyan 🇷🇺 who gave a detailed interview to the TBC and ITV channels 🎥🎤🗣
🔴Generally, the event was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedom, and a celebration of the enduring human spirit that continues to unite us all. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and a testament to the power of music and culture.

The Russian House in Dar es Salaam 🇷🇺 took part in the all-Russian Movement "The Immortal Regiment", which is organized annually in memory of the participants and victims of the Great Patriotic War 🌹🕯
The Exhibition Hall of the Russian House presents the exhibition "Wall of Memory" with portraits of war heroes. Compatriots living in Tanzania shared photos and information about their family members - combatants, frontline back-up workers and war children.
This tragedy touched every Soviet family. The exhibition presents photographs of war veterans from different regions and republics of Russia, from Rostov-on-Don to Buryatia, as well as combat veterans from Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Armenia.
The war heroes whose portraits are depicted on the "Wall of Memory" were again held "in the ranks" during the festive concert on 12th of May in the Main Hall. Students of the School for supplementary education "Dar Rechi" opened the concert with a solemn procession with photos of the war fallen heroes.
The participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the heroes.

🎥 TBC TV - about the Opening Ceremony of the First Film Festival of modern Military cinema, that was held on April 18th at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam.
The Festival was organised by the Russian House and dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War over the Fascist invaders.
The opening of the film festival attracted more than 250 guests.

The Festival was organised by the Russian House and dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War over the Fascist invaders.
The opening of the film festival attracted more than 250 guests.

🎞 В Танзании продолжается Фестиваль современного российского военного кино
С 18 апреля по 9 мая в Русском Доме в Дар-Эс-Саламе проходит Первый кинофестиваль современного военного кино, приуроченный ко Дню Победы в Великой Отечественной войне над фашистскими захватчиками.
В программу Фестиваля включены экскурсии по выставке ко Дню Победы, тематические лекции российских дипломатов и просмотр современных художественных и документальных фильмов, посвященных Великой Отечественной войне, на русском языке с английскими субтитрами.
🎬 25 апреля состоялся показ художественного фильма "Звезда" о группе разведчиков - молодых ребятах, отправленных в 1944 году в тыл врага для выполнения важного задания.
В рамках Кинофестиваля картина "Звезда" стала второй и снова собрала полный зал гостей. Посмотреть фильм о войне пришли более 180 танзанийцев, среди которых студенты Центра дипломатических отношений и Университета Дар-эс-Салама, слушатели курсов русского языка, соотечественники и танзанийцы-выпускники российских и советских вузов.
🇷🇺 С приветственной речью на суахили перед гостями выступил российский дипломат Георгий Главатских, отметивший важность сохранения исторической памяти.
🎞 Следующие кинопоказы состоятся 2 мая, 7 мая и 8 мая в 6 часов вечера.
