Newbie Question

So recently started honkai 3rd to get into the lore since I have played genshin and HSR before and they refer to hi3 quite a lot
- is there no en voicing in the game????? Ain't no way such a big company went only jp on it
- I CANT USE ALL THE DAMN STAMINA AT ONCE what the hell is going on bruh

I have gotten the new mei sp and am pulling for her weapon any plans should I keep in mind?
Also is the pity system same as gi and HSR?

Questions for part 2

I've almost finished playing part 1 and decided to come back to part 2 (I finished chapter 1 because of the newcomer event). Idk but chapter 1 and 2 felt so long and over the place. Chapter 3 made me quite hooked and was very much better than the previous 2. Does the following chapters get any better? Also, what chapter does the Langqiu arc end?

I love how HI3 still hasn’t started replacing any of the Astral Ring S-ranks yet

**TLDR:** *No AR S-ranks replaced yet — just buffs, better supports, and QoL/utility improvements. Meta's still kinda the same in higher tiers but a lot more forgiving in average-to-lower tiers. Replacement will probably start after 1 or 2 more years.*

One thing I really appreciate about HI3 right now is that none of the Astral Ring (AR) S-rank valks have actually been replaced yet — at least not in terms of their Type + Element slots. And honestly, it looks like we're not getting replacements anytime soon either.

SW unexpectedly got DK instead of HoTr for Bronya, filling up the BIO Ice. They'll most likely to fill-up the remaining empty slots first (BIO Fire, IMG Ice, QUA Ice, QUA Physical) and maybe mixed-in with replacing the first DK slots first (IMG Fire, PSY Ice). That's total of 6 slots, which should be around 4\~6 patches, or about a year.

*(Disclaimer: Following are my personal observation, feel free to correct* *~~without being rude lol~~**)*

**World Star (WS)**

* DAFL Sena, SI Teri, and TFM Sparkle are all getting direct buffs thanks to Youyun AstralOP (giving them the ability to exit early during SO) + SW Bronya (enabling Surplus utility)
* It's also crazy HoRb Seele with SW Bronya as her support buffing her physical damage more, and also add to that Youyun AOP's synergy with said Surplus utility

It took them 2 years before they replaced Songque with Youyun for WS teams. And even then, it's not just a straight replacement; Youyun introduces really huge QoL for smoother rotations rather than just raw damage buff. 2 years... so maybe, *just maybe*, DAFL/SI/TFM won't be replaced for around 2 more years? Though realistically, should be at least 1 more year (or 1.5 years at most).

For **Wheel of Destiny (WoD)**, basically everyone got buffed with ME Rita (for Surplus utility) + HLE Ellie (for higher damage buff) as their new BiS supports depending on rank — so usual old supports like DAFL Sena, LP Vita, MPS Thelema are still realistically usable

Then for **Law of Ascension (LoA)**, there's LV Luna to PS Sushang, XDC Mei to FWS Kiana, ME Rita to RS Dudu. And **Grail of Infinitude (GoI)** with LV Luna to PAWS Helia.

Another interesting thing is how current breach supports (DAFL Sena, LP Vita, FDD Coralie) can only cover specific ARs but they're not locked as BiS to them. Their value depends way more on team comps, gear, and rank investment. Like for example:

* S0 LP is BiS breach for WS, but SS1+ DAFL can overtake if elemental scaling favors it
* S0 DAFL is BiS in WoD, but SS+ LP pulls ahead
* S0–S2 FDD is BiS for LoA, but SS+ LP is basically on par

Also, LP actually really good value is how she can be used together with either DAFL or FDD (despite breach buff not stacking) because of how she can convert breach to more damage buff.

Overall, it's kinda wild how stable the P2 meta is right now, thanks to Astral Ring system.

Aside from all S-ranks being both DPS and Support now, we're mostly getting sidegrades, team upgrades, and QoL improvements/utilities — which honestly feels way healthier than before.
