Escaped Hammy!
I'm laying here at 2am UK time in utter disbelief at whats just happened, and I have to share this with someone!
I've just been woken up to some loud scratching and biting at my bedroom door. I think what the hell? Open my door and my little hamster is just there staring at me trying to get into the room. Only thing is my hamster cage is DOWNSTAIRS. I stupidly left the cage door open and went to bed about 10pm. He must of climbed out and has been running around the house since, except he some how knew to climb all the stairs and scratch at the door to let me know he was out.
I free roam him in my room every night and I can only assume the scent was so strong that he was trying to get back in . Im actually shaking and feel like crying, I have no idea how he scaled the stairs except they are carpeted and he must of gripped on.
What a clever, smart little boy!
