A massive thank you to St. Broseph for helping me recover my money after a pub scam in Bangalore
I am writing this post to share a terrible experience I recently had and to express my deepest gratitude to St. Broseph, who is truly doing God’s work for the people of this city.
I work hard as an auto driver to make an honest living. A few days ago, on October 20th, I matched with a girl on a dating app. When we planned to meet, I initially suggested getting coffee, but she insisted on going out for drinks instead. Since I didn't know the city's nightlife spots well, she chose the venue, claiming she knew it perfectly.
Once we arrived at the lounge, she immediately took control and ordered five expensive drinks for each of us. Out of nowhere, the staff brought out a staggering bill of over ₹23,000. I was completely shocked and felt bad. It was a massive amount of money for me—practically an entire month of my hard work. When I told her I couldn't afford it, she completely brushed it off and told me to borrow it from someone. The pub waiters then surrounded me and forced me to pay. Out of fear and desperation, I had to call my friends and borrow them just to clear the bill and leave.
To make matters worse, she refused to take a selfie on my phone, saying she would send one from hers later.
Once she left, she completely cut off contact, ignoring all my messages and phone calls.
I felt completely helpless and devastated until a friend told me about the incredible work St. Broseph does to help victims of these exact dating scams.
I reached out to him, and he immediately stepped in to support me. Thanks to his tireless efforts and guidance, I was able to get my money back.
I am keeping our names and the specific lounge anonymous, but I absolutely had to share this to warn others. More importantly, I want everyone to know what a hero St. Broseph is. If you ever find yourself in a desperate situation like this, please know you are not alone. Thank you again, St. Broseph.

One idea as the top of my head is to maybe support a homeless family nearby. Any other ideas ?

So my friend is 21M and his father passed away when he was young and his mother doesn't work, they live off some money given by relatives, they hv bpl and ration card and they are from SC caste, he asked my help to apply for ssp scholarship but it asks for an income+caste certificate, what can be done in this situation?
