Sandstone vs slate
This probably has been brought up before but a Google search didn't show me a reddit discussing it. I've played this game for years and years.
But why is sandstone still stronger then slate? Slate is denser and more resistant to ballistics. I understand rimworld is certainly not geared to actual physics but it's just kind of always bothered me. I'm doing a new vanialla playthrough and have an abundance of slate and sandstone and just had me wondering why the devs made sandstone walls stronger. I'm still using slate for asthetics regardless.

pawns should be way more upset about losing a limb
imagine. you’re a tribal in a young colony. mechs just attacked your camp, and a scyther took your arm. infection might take your leg, too.
you can barely hold a broom, let alone a bow. you’re already horrible at hand to hand combat, and now? good luck fighting off a lone impid. bionics are a long way away, and even if your colony could afford one, your primitive doctor would probably kill you trying to install it. you’re useless. if you get downed in the field, you’re not sure if they’ll even go to the effort of dragging your bleeding, broken body back to base.
but the pain of losing your limbs, your functionality, the only thing that could keep you alive on this godforsaken rimworld, doesn’t even carry the same emotional weight as eating without a table.
i know it’s for gameplay balance but i wish they cared at least a little bit!
