Best PlayStation 1 games to own physically

Hey, just recently got a playstation(SCPH-9001). Just curious what are like the best games of all time and what would be the games you would own for your collection? Like I’ve heard Silent Hill is really good…and then I looked at the price of it and it’s $300 CAD -_-. I swear it sold pretty well and so I don’t understand the price since it’s not that rare, right? Anyways LMK :)
