Why does my laptop's charging port make noise when it's plugged in?

How did focus stealing become so ubiquitous?
It seems like it should be a core principle : only the user should decide what window they are focusing on. If a user is typing sensitive commands inside a program, there should never be another program popping up over it to absorb those commands, because then god knows what can happen.
In Windows it seems anything is allowed to steal focus at any time. It is frequent to get interrupted while you are typing in a program, and have to refocus the window back to what you were doing. It doesn't seem as prevalent in OS X but to my recollection it is allowed there too. IDK about Linux.
How did this not cause more outrage over the years? Is everybody just suffering silently? Or do most people not even notice?

First Build advice
im currently planning my first build and wanted to know if there were any slight changes anyone would make.
Cpu: 5600 stock cooler
Ram: Vengence Lpx 2x16 3200
Gpu: 7700xt used
Mobo: Gigabyte b550m
SSd: 2x 1tb
Psu: Corsair rm750e Modular
in a Jonsbo v12 case (i know the gpu clearance is 0mm but i found posts of others who made the exact model fit)
1 extra 92mm exhaust fan (2x120mm intake build into the case)
I have a 1440p screen
With this build i would spend around 750 eu. Is there any obvious changes i should make or did i do good?

Quadro GPUs in sli on sli motherboard ?
Hello everyone and good afternoon ! I want to run 2x Quadro FX 4600 GPUs in SLI on my MSI P6N sli platinum motherboard. I checked with MSI and they told me that the motherboard is sli enabled but couldn't tell me if sli will work with Quadro cards. Has anyone got any clue if it would work or has anyone attempted something similar ?
Thanks for any help 🙂

Graphics Card Keeps Disabling Itself? I think?
Hi, I'm having some trouble with my graphics card - I think.
To be clear, I'm a novice when it comes to computers - I really know very little about them.
I have an Eluktronics gaming laptop with an NVIDIA RTX 2070 graphics card. I've had it for about 5 years now, and it used to run games like Uncharted 4 and RDR 2 quite well. Not on ultra settings, but mid-high settings with smooth gameplay.
Over the past year or so though my computers ability to play games has taken a severe downturn. It can't run games like GR Wildlands without massive slowdown. Even my PS2 emulator is chugging.
The graphics card seems to be disabling itself. I've had the NVidia app crash multiple times, and my graphics card in device manager has error 31 come up - I've had to reinstall it multiple times.
I recently tried to redownload Uncharted 4, and I can't even get past loading the shaders without my entire machine restarting. When it restarts, the error 31 on my graphics card comes up again, and it tells me to reinstall it.
I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled the entire driver after a safe mode reboot using DDU, and while this helped the emulator issue, Uncharted 4 is still fucked.
I have also noticed that my GPU levels spike to 100 percent when installing Uncharted. The GPU temp also wavers between 70 and 90 depending. I take it that's high but I have no idea - and I'm not sure if it's always been like this. My computer HAS always had a very loud fan that runs constantly and that hasn't changed.
Any idea what's going on with my machine? Any tips? I'd love to be able to play games like Uncharted and run my emulator smoothly again!
