Using sodimm on a desktop with adapter?
Im considering upgrading to a 9800x3d but the ram prices are too high. Is it a good alternative to use my 4800mhz ddr5 sodimm from my laptop with a adapter for a while until I can get normal ddr5 ram?

PAGEFAULTINNONPAGEDAREA (0x50)
So when ever I try to do a windows update. I get a “there are problems found on your device your computer will restart” message. And at the bottom is this code “PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (0x50)”. Never seen it before. Does anyone know if it’s a hardware issue or corrupted windows file? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use old RAM for SSD?
I was just thinking, older generation RAM is still faster than current gen SSDs right? Why not put a bunch of RAM chips on a board with a battery and slot it into NVMe? Has this been done? I seem to recall a video where it was done.. but couldn't find anything relevant on Google. It seems like it would be a good way to put old RAM to good use.
