I was looking at my System info and noticed this. Could someone tell me if this is normal, I don't understand if I have 16gb of RAM why I only have 4gb available. I am on a MSI cyborg 15 a13v laptop.

Intel Iris Xe graphics if RAM is upgraded to dual channel?

Hi,

My laptop has Core i5 1235U and 16 GB single channel RAM. The laptop uses Intel UHD graphics as seen in the device manager. I read somewhere that Core i5 1235U is Iris Xe capable and will switch to using Iris Xe if I upgrade RAM from single channel to dual channel. My laptop has an empty RAM slot (even the manufacturer mentioned that the RAM is upgradable). So, if I add a 16 GB RAM stick, will my laptop start using Iris Xe graphics (instead of UHD)?(https://www.reddit.com/submit/?sourceid=t31ryq3sf&composerentry=crosspostnudge)
