🇺🇦⚡️🇷🇺 F-16 Crashes in Ukraine.
Kyiv recently received six of the planes to boost its fight against Russia, a key symbol of U.S. support.
Ukrainian Lieutenant Colonel Oleksii "Moonfish" Mes was the first F-16 pilot killed in Ukraine.

⚡️As it seems, we finally have a "clearer" image of what could be the true J-31 land-based variant; or as the latest rumours suggest, the J-35X!
Even if still not very clear, it appears to have a single-wheel front gear & an IRST underneat the nose.

⚡️🇷🇺 5th Generation Fighter woes:
The Russian SU-57 program has been plagued with issues from its conception; following the departure of the Indian Government and a plethora of supply errors. The Russian Air Force is expected to have 76 delivered by the end of 2027, with only 22 airframes since it entered service, it sits at 10 flyable prototypes and 22 low-production, pre-serial airframes. Manufacturing issues currently include the lack of space in the main production facility, but the seemingly major issue is the bottleneck of finalizing airframes, due to the lack of Izdelie-30 engines.
The SU-57 has allegedly been, rather liberally used in the SMO against Ukrainians, allegedly downing a Ukrainian SU-27, along with a handful being successfully used in a SEAD role in 2022, and again in 2024 using a new stealthy, subsonic cruise missile, with only 1 total combat loss following a Ukrainian drone attack in the Astrakhan Oblast.
Currently, the Russian Air Force is still to expect 22 SU-57s by the end of 2024, which have yet to officially be delivered, and only time will tell if the program will or will not follow in the recent steps of the Armata Universal Combat Platform, or if it will follow the Russian tradition of aircrafts not coming to fruition long after their initial fielding.

⚡️🇵🇰 Give this a read. An excellently written thread detailing the history of the PAF's No 17 Squadron "Tigers".
The Squadron currently stationed in Peshawar saw numerous deployments all across Pakistan during the 67 years of its service. From the 4 Indo-Pak wars to the Soviet-Pak Airwar and the later war on terror.
First formed out of F-86F Sabres in the 50s, It was equipped with the F-6 Shenyang in the late 70s and the F-7P and F-7PG in the early 2000s.
Now the Squadron will be equipped with the excellent JF-17 Thunder III.
What first started as a Fighter Bomber Squadron that later took on the role of Air Superiority will finally be reformed into a Multirole Squadron.
