За чемъ же дело стало? Собрали мы команду супергероевъ да хорошенько раскрутили ихъ на стуле. Потомъ ещё и сценарий почитали, но объ этомъ въ следующихъ серияхъ!

They simply cannot sit still, these Piterville guys, they are always full of ideas. They came up with a serious, adult detective story. And then the VK platform showed up: we wish to assist you, we can’t bear to be idle!

Why not then? We assembled a team of superheroes and gave them a good spin on a chair. We also read the script later, but more on that is coming in the following episodes!

Дабы не оплошать, узнать, кто кому дядя, и изучить все хитросплетения будущего детектива, собрались мы въ офисе ВКЪ на читку сценария. Разобрали себе отставныхъ офицеровъ да охотниковъ за сенсациями.

А дальше – ещё интереснее! Ведь пока вы это читаете, мы уже снимаемъ первую серию!

In order to do everything right, find out who is whose uncle, and explore all the intricacies of the future detective, we gathered in the VK office to read the script together. We sorted out our retired officers and sensation hunters.

[Historical note. In pre-Barynya times Piterville filmed the “Batsketball” music video. There is a tradition of smashing a plate with the project’s title on it before filming. What we could afford was a signed plastic plate bearing our names. It was torn apart in small pieces]

...we are finally breaking a plate on our first filming day as we are making our own detective movie!
