Забаву новую народъ удумалъ – вспоминать годъ 2016 и путешествовать памятью на десять летъ назадъ.

Что же было въ 2016 съ Питервиллемъ? А не было его ещё! Точнее, вотъ-вотъ собирался образоваться. Тогда мы, недавние выпускники театрального, были приглашены на день рождения къ другу по прозвищу Графъ. Финансовое положение не дозволяло выбрать достойный презентъ, а вотъ кличка именинника натолкнула на мысль о творческомъ подарке.

Набрали мы въ театральномъ подборе костюмовъ старинныхъ, налепили усы да бороды (теперича всё своё, натуральное), написали старорэпъ (речитативъ съ обилиемъ устаревшихъ словъ) и сняли съ друзьями клипъ. За музыку отвечалъ гениальный Александръ Краушъ, за съёмку – блистательный Алексей Абанинъ. Тамъ, у Дмитрия въ куплете и прозвучало «Питервилль» какъ предвестие будущего.

Folks came up with a new kind of merrymaking: recollect the year 2016 and let their memory travel back in time.

What was happening to Piterville in 2016? Well, Piterville did not exist then! It was about to be formed. We had just graduated from the Theatre Academy and one day were invited to a birthday party to a friend known as ‘Count’. With our limited resources we could not afford buying a proper gift, so the birthday boy’s nickname became our inspiration for making a creative present.

We got some historic costumes from the Theatre Academy, put on our mustaches and beards (now we have our own, natural ones), wrote an old-school rap song (abundant with archaic vocabulary), and filmed a music video with our friends. The music was composed by the brilliant Alexander Kraush, the filming was done by the amazing Alexey Abanin. There, in Dmitry’s part the word ‘Piterville’ appeared for the first time foreshadowing the future.

Here are some shots of our first music video described above, as well as of our second music video “So Married”. It was also filmed in the unforgettable 2016 and released a year later. Now, shall we proceed to the memories from 2017?
