Tore down all the rabbit cages. I wasn't happy with the size for starters, and the heat inside the chook shed I would've just been killing them. So that all came down and I added a couple of extra maybe quail grow out cages or maybe a spot for chooks that go clucky to have some eggs to sit on.
Figure that out in the future... But the space thats left behind I did consider turning into another cage and I still might but I think a hydroponics system for growing chicken and quail greens in there might be perfect. Simple tray system where the bottom of the trays/pots are ever so slightly dunked into a reservoir of hydroponic solution

The doors to the rabbit cages I tore down I pinched and threw straight up onto where the battery system for the 240v power is going in the shed as well as a backing board for the components to attach to.
Carting all the batteries from the solar shed to here and now I just need a 48v charge controller/inverter and the chook shed will be powered. Making it muchhhh easier to keep chicks I incubate to be heated on the IBC system as well as getting an aircon for the summer months to keep everyone cool hahaha
Also finally got off me fat arse and added the MDF to the cages under the battery system. They're hinged, locks and latches all finished just need to cut out the doors and add wire as well as finish the nest boxes
