I am shocked to learn that #US investigative journalist Jeff German has been killed. I commend the Las Vegas Police for swift investigation into the details of the case, including any relation to his work & hope that the perpetrator will soon be brought to justice. #Noimpunity

Deeply saddened about the recent shooting in the #US, where @MyNews13 journalist Dylan Lions was killed & his colleague Jesse Walden injured, while reporting from a crime scene. Unfortunately, journalists often pay a high price for their work. I commend that a suspect was arrested.

The recent armed robberies in the #US against TV crews of @unichicago & WLS TV, while performing their professional activities, show how dangerous journalistic work can be. I trust the authorities will bring all those responsible to justice. Media must be safe to do their work.
