Наступило время новых квизов! На прошлой неделе я писала, про то, как выбирать слова для изучения, и, в частности, про то, что нужно обращать внимание не только и не столько на суперсложную лексику, но и на те знакомые слова и фразы, которые употреблены в новом значении или на то, что понятно, но сложно употребляется в обычной речи.

While waking up at 5 to catch an early train is definitely not my idea of fun, there is an unexpected upside to doing so - you get to walk through the empty streets of Moscow, still pristine and untrampled by other commuters.

Эту романтическую фразу с использованием лексики из квиза я придумала вчера, и сегодня хотела проиллюстрировать ее фоткой пустых улиц у нас в Беляево. Но оказалось, что даже в 6 утра улицы уже вполне trampled, потому что будний день и все бегут на работу. 😳. Так что вместо московских улиц – фото моего утреннего лица в поезде на Ярославль.🙂. Еду на Ярконф, если и вы тоже - буду рада увидеться! ❤

В первый раз погуляла по центру и набережным Ярославля. В прошлом году не успела за два дня конфы, так  что в этот раз целый день заложила на это. И не зря. Чудесный город, малоэтажный, уютный такой. Правда промокла насквозь - как то не верилось, что  вот это белое пятнышко над Волгой в 100 метрах от меня это проливной дождище 🙂. 

Заодно стала думать, а как сказать “ вода, хлюпающая в ботинках”? Остановилась на двух вариантах ( пока не скажу каких 😎) . А вы бы как сказали? 👇
