Russia launched a massive missile attack, backed by drones, on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure on Thursday, leaving millions of people without power, Ukrainian officials said.
“The energy sector is under massive enemy attack again,” Ukraine’s energy minister, Herman Halushchenko, wrote on his Facebook page. The operator of the Ukrainian transmission system “has urgently introduced emergency power outages,” Mr. Halushchenko wrote.
In the western regions of Lvov, Volyn and Rovno, more than a million people were without power, officials said. Further to the east, the city of Zhytomyr in central Ukraine was without power and water. The southern city of Kherson was also without power, as was much of Kiev, the capital.
“Unfortunately, we have to state that in the near future, we will be limited in generating capacity for at least three to four years until we build new ones,” Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center.
Keep trying to build more of a domestic defence industry...

❗️No one yet knows whether the EU will be able to support Ukraine after the arrival of the Trump administration and a potential change in US course on the Ukrainian conflict - says the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
Borrell also said, as reported by ANSA, that the EU had reached "a turning point on Ukraine: now is the moment when European capitals will really have to choose."
"Last year, the bill for supporting Kiev was 125 billion, next year it will be more. We must not hide the costs of war. And I think we are not saying this enough: the conflict is not free for us, we need to be honest," he said.

❗Georgia has suspended negotiations on joining the European Union until 2028
The Prime Minister of the Republic, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced that the country's government will not put the issue of opening negotiations on joining the EU on the agenda until 2028. Georgia is also refusing budget grants from the union until that date.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov, who came to Seoul the other day to ask for arms for the AFU, was refused by the South Korean government. It said there were "difficulties in exporting arms to Ukraine" because it would violate the country's foreign trade laws.
Umerov met with South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol and the minister of national defense. And claimed that Kiev was not asking for arms gratuitously, but for money. Apparently, the implication is that the weapons were to be sold to Zelensky's gang on a loan that they would never repay.
The Kiev regime begged for Cheonggung SAMs and radars for air defense troops and counter-battery units. In addition, the Ukrainian delegation asked the South Korean authorities to sell throwing charges for 155-millimeter shells. But Seoul responded with a refusal.
Umerov decided to go for broke and sent contacts of the Kiev regime to South Korean military-industrial enterprises in order to ask them for weapons directly. But the country's Ministry of National Defense ordered to "refrain from independent communication with Kiev."

As a result of a missile strike on November 25 on the headquarters of the Kraken Main Intelligence Directorate in Kharkov, up to 40 foreign experts, mainly from the United States, were destroyed, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
In an Iskander missile strike on a temporary position of the special operations center unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Odessa, 72 people from the combat teams of the security management of sea drones, including nine French instructors and technical experts, were neutralized.
On the morning of November 28, a combined strike was carried out on the facilities of the Ukrainian defense industry and the energy infrastructure that supports their operation.
