This is a promo popcorn bucket for Evil Dead Burn. But all of us here know why this triggers my PTSD..

As much as I love Sawyer, wouldn't he still get a bad ending after The End?

Not only he is still a wanted criminal who has scammed several innocent people during his quest for revenge (I mean, he was willing to scam the married couple who did nothing wrong to him and only changed his mind when he found out they had a child and realized he would become no better than Anthony Cooper if he scammed them), but if the Australian authorities ever found out that he killed Frank, he would be extraditated to Australia, convicted of murder and sentenced to a long time behind bars, if not outright life without parole. Sure, he was tricked into thinking that Frank was responsible for scamming his parents and felt remorse after he found out that he was innocent, but I don't think Frank's family would be fine with that. They might forgive him, but they would likely still want him to be held accountable.

Sure, I know that Sawyer does eventually get a happy ending by moving on with Juliet and the other Survivors in the church, but something tells me that his life outside the Island will not be that great.

In S1 E17 what was Jin saying before michel punched him?

Im re-watcher so no fear of spoilers. It's when Jin is trying to say something the first time that he she's everything after last night's noat burning (ill be honest) the writers ONE hundered percent made him repeat a word that sound like the N word which is why michael was double pissed. I can never find a translation on Google or with captions though, they were very odd with what they wanted and didn't want you to know

My man Charlie was really rocking those Vans slips ons

They are my favourite kind of shoes. I'm from an African country and we don't always have access to all the different styles and trends ( a least back in the day ) .

I first fell in love with these shoes when I saw a photo of Kristen Stewart wearing them , a shoe great for walking , without laces ( i struggle with laces ) and that actually looks fashionable - sign me up !

When i got to visit a country in Europe , of course I went to look for a vans store and finally got my very own pair of vans slip ons - classic black and white checkered one like the ones Charlie wore . Those got very worn out and then I managed to get my hands on pink checkered ones that were on sale which I still wear today much to the chagrin of some of my family members who are not as keen on them as I am.

Then imagine my surprise when I start watching lost and I see a lovable character rocking my favourite shoes ! Lost was produced in like 2004, so I'm like wait these shoes exited back then and here I thought it was a recent thing !

Anyway its the kind of the perfect shoes if you need to be active which you kinda do on the island , everyone has to go on some sort of hike at some point, even Hurley and even random side characters like the scientist guy who got blown up sadly.

Although flip flops would kind of be good footwear to have on the beach part of the island since you know sand but it seemed like no one carried a pair of flip flops in their suit case . Btw i d be so pissed if i got stranded on an island and other passengers get their bag but I did not.

jack question

>!if the island healed jack after he plugged the cork back in and was transported to the bamboo area how do you think the rest of his days would have played out. would he have spent the rest of his days with kate and had a child or stayed on the island with hurley and ben. what are your thoughts on how jack would have spent his remaining days before he died?!<

Finished Season 4 in Just 6 Days… What a Ride! (No Spoilers Past S4)

No spoilers beyond Season 4 please! First-time watcher.
I just finished Season 4… and I can’t believe it’s only been 6 days since I started this show. I never expected to love Lost this much. I’m completely addicted.
Some thoughts:
I was actually happy that they finally got off the island and the Oceanic 6 made it out.
But here’s the thing I can’t get behind: everyone suddenly feels like they have to go back. I really hate that idea. You just escaped what was basically hell. Even if your life in the real world is miserable, I can’t imagine anyone willingly choosing to return to that island. Right now it feels a bit forced just to keep the story going, but maybe Season 5 will change my mind.
Jacob was finally introduced… but I still have no idea what to make of him. He just seemed like some kind of spirit?
Ben is still being Ben—lying, manipulating, deceiving everyone. I honestly can’t stand him. He’s one of those characters I love to hate.
Juliet joining Jack’s group was a great development. 👍
I was so relieved when Sawyer and Kate escaped the Others back in Season 3.
The freighter commandos were such a pain, so it was satisfying to see Ben’s side eventually take them down.
Locke is apparently becoming the new leader of the island? I’m really curious where that’s going.
And what is going on with Christian? Why is Jack’s dad speaking for Jacob? And Claire just left Aaron?? That had me saying, “WTF?!”
I was also expecting more answers about the Black Smoke Monster and the whispers in the jungle. Four seasons in, I still have no clue what they are. At this point, it almost feels like the Smoke Monster is somehow under Ben’s control—or at least Ben can direct it—but I’m probably missing something.
Finally, Desmond reuniting with Penny was easily one of my favorite moments of the season. ❤️
Overall, I’m still hooked and can’t wait to start Season 5.
Please, no spoilers beyond Season 4!

Just finished this show. I now feel sad as hell

This one got me real bad.

I’ve only had a few shows give me post depression after finishing them. This is one of the worst.

It’s been one hell of a journey from start to finish. Insane character depth and development; I feel like I grew way too attached to these characters because of that. All of it just ending is putting me in what feels like an actual state of grief. Feels like I just lost a family.

Anyone else feel this way?

Favorite Lost character and why?

There are many well written and interesting characters on Lost, but for me, my favorite will always be Ben.

Michael Emerson did an absolutely fantastic job portraying him, no one else could compare. Ben went from tragic mastermind to anti-hero, having some of the best character development in the entire show, while still being hilarious. In my dreams, there’s a spinoff with him and Hurley and their shenanigans on the island. I love a lot of other characters, (Sun, Desmond, Jin, Sawyer, Charlie) but Ben will always sticks out to me.

Are there any characters you liked/disliked on your first watched, but when you re-watched the show you change your mind about the characters.?

Garnering interest for a fan meetup / “convention” of sorts

I know it wouldn’t be like a typical convention, but perhaps with enough planning, we could figure out a bunch of relevant things to do, but the main point would be to just get together and socialize, reminisce, etc

My other favorite show is how I Met your mother, and they kind of do their own thing once a year in the form of a charity concert with the band The Solids (the creators’ band) and after a while they were able to get several cast members to come (I am not at all expecting any cast members to come to our meet up, but it just kind of inspired me to think about what a LOST meet up could look like)

The first thought that comes to mind is a group camping trip on a beach. Obviously Hawaii would be ideal since that’s where it was filmed, but since Hawaii can be cost prohibitive maybe we could consider consider California? Or maybe Puerto Rico (is that cheaper than Hawaii?)

Like a 3 or 4 day summer camp for Losties.

Ideas:

Survivor Camp Games
Build shelters with tarps and rope.
Coconut bowling.
Mango or pineapple relay races.
“Find the hatch” scavenger hunt using GPS coordinates.
Blindfold navigation with a partner.
Team challenges named after the beach camp vs. the Others.

Dharma Initiative Theme
Everyone gets assigned a Dharma job upon arrival.
Examples:
Swan Station (kitchen)
Pearl (photographer)
Orchid (games)
Hydra (water sports)
Flame (communications)
Arrow (firewood)
Staff (first aid)

Someone could be a secret “Other” and we could have some fun with that

Dharma initiative instructional video challenge
We could get one of those camp snap cameras that look like super eight, but is actually digital so we can edit it on the fly, and make our own dharma initiative style videos. We could split into groups and turn it into a contest with a cool Lost themed prize for the winner.

“Live Together, Die Alone”
Campfire discussion night.
Everyone shares:
how they found Lost
favorite character
favorite theory
what the show meant during a hard time

Lost Mythology Trivia
Rounds like:
obscure background characters
music
props
fake brands
Dharma stations
flash sideways
“Who said this?”

Found Objects Exchange
Like geocaching.
Everyone brings one Lost-related trinket.
Examples:
Apollo candy
Dharma magnets
little notebooks
airplane pins
vinyl stickers
fake passports
Hatch keychains

Leave them in caches, with clues or coordinates

Drunk PowerPoint
Some presentation ideas:
The complete economics of the Dharma Initiative.
Was Ben actually the hero?
Which character would survive a modern zombie apocalypse?
The hidden philosophers of LOST

Push the Button
Probably my favorite silly idea.
Set a timer for every 108 minutes.
When it goes off, everyone has to stop what they’re doing and gather to push a literal red button.
No exceptions.
Eating?
Swimming?
Mid-conversation?
Push the button.
I guarantee by the second day people would be yelling, “WE HAVE THREE MINUTES!” and sprinting across the campsite.

Food for thought, I hope!
