Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Today, I was given the most meaningful gift, double oyster earrings, from my family. The oyster is a symbol of something powerful: when irritation enters, it doesn’t break…it transforms it into something beautiful. A pearl is formed through pressure, persistence, and protection.

That’s motherhood.

Being a mama is my greatest role and my favorite. There is nothing like the birth of a child… and then watching them grow, guiding them, protecting them, shaping them. You spend years pouring into them…through scraped knees, school days, and the teenage years…and somewhere along the way (the teenage years I think lol), you understand how a mother can let her children leave the nest.

Because you’ve prepared them. And because you’re ready.

But that instinct…the deep, unshakable, God-given desire to protect them from evil and make sure they have every opportunity this country offers…never goes away.

I’m ready to fight for your kids like I fight for mine.
