🇷🇺🇹🇯 Russian and Tajikistan armed forces complete joint exercise at Harbmaidon training ground

🪖During the exercise, the military contingents of the two countries trained in fighting against terrorist groups, and in performing missions in mountainous terrain. The main stage of the exercise included a joint operation to neutralise mock illegal armed formations, as well as perform command and control when protecting the state border and destroying those mock enemy groups which managed to break through.

💥 According to the scenario, the groups of mock illegal armed formations crossed the state border and attacked a border security service detachment which is subordinate to the State Committee for National Security. Border covering forces began to repel an attack of the outnumbering enemy.

📍 The operation resulted in the restoration of control over the state border by the border guard units the Republic of Tajikistan. The internal troops, the EMERCOM, and the medical service were deployed in the area to restore law and order as well as provide aid in the affected settlements.
