Is there an e-reader in the Linux Mint OS? I've searched through the apps and don't see anything. I'd like to download the Kindle version of the Fauci book. Anyone have any recommendations or insight?

Libre Office! I just installed it after installing Linux elementary OS on an old ASUS. I have only opened it and looked around so far, but seems to work just like Microsoft office.

I asked my daughter if she had any old computers she didn't want ... we live a distance apart and for Thanksgiving brought me her "favorite" in her luggage ... she told me it was bogged down that it took forever to load anything ... she couldn't understand why ... she told me she always kept up with her Windows updates ... (old Dell) ... I saw her yesterday and took it back to my hotel room ... Today I brought it back fully loaded with Mint and she can't stop smiling ... I brought it back to life for her ... 😁😁😁 ... I love you guys!

Linux Mint on a new HP, 64Gb RAM, 2Tb SSHD, 15” touch screen. Dual boots to my wife’s Windows 10 partition. The other screen is a 2009 Mac Mini out to a 48” HDMI TV.

So, after almost 20 years I'm leaving the healthcare field- I just can't be a part of what it has become. That said; do any of you have suggestions on which of the following to pursue based on highest pay, least saturation and most security...

Forgive me in advance for the general question, any recommendations on a new laptop I can run both windows (for work, I’m setting it up from scratch to disable as much tracing), AND load after Linux (Ubuntu or Mint, or...?) so I have dual use.

I’m wanting something w/ at least 32GB memory, 1 TB storage, and take advantage of an i7 or better processor. Specs won’t be cheap I know, but I don’t plan on buying a new machine for many years. Looking at HP vs Dell vs Acer.

I have an Asus laptop, blew Windows of it, installed Linux Mint and what a refreshing thing

Ubuntu is easier to use right off the bat, Mint teaches you a lot more through experience.

I installed Ubuntu on MacBook Pro. Everything was flawless except sound. Finally searched enough and found a solution. Loving Ubuntu

I put Ubuntu on a old MacMini it works like a charm and I love it, it was really getting slow with the new iOS. Does anyone have any advice for installing some distribution on an old ipad?

I wanna do that on my husband's old mac, is it possible to keep the existing system and still install and run Ubuntu? I'm afraid to mess up and lose stuff
