Hopefully you've been enjoying the new Jeff.pro website. It was launched a few months ago. It's been working great - it has a built-in "Learning Management System" (LMS) for our courses, among other things, and allows us to publish better news articles during the week.

And yes, the new jeff.pro site is completely new - the result of years of work.

HOWEVER - this weekend, there was a bug. The new site emailed a bunch of former students from our classes.

So, if you got one of those emails, you can ignore it. No one was actually enrolled in classes from those emails. It was just an erroneous email from the new site "syncing" its databases with our old systems, and accidentally sending out a "you're enrolled" notification email to a bunch of people.

Bottom line, it sent out emails to some previous class members, that's all. You can ignore that email. Nothing more to do. Sorry bout that friends.

This month's Microsoft "patch tuesday" is supposed to fix 400 flaws and vunerabilities in Windows. 😳

Yes, you read that number correctly. Four hundred.

Still feel like your files, passwords, etc. are "safe" in Windows?

How many flaws and vunerabilities will be in next month's "patch Tuesday?"

Even stranger is how they act like it's just "normal." 🤷‍♂️

OS/2 running on a IBM PS/1.

Around 1992, OS/2 was popular, for a while in corporate environments. It's "multi-user/multi tasking" features were more stable than Windows. (Windows was lousy even back then 🤣)
