And today, that hard work paid off.

🏛 Asilbek has been accepted to The University of Chicago (TOP 20) - one of the most competitive universities in the world - with a full-ride scholarship worth over $420,000 for four years.

But it didn’t stop there. UChicago is need-aware, meaning financial need can influence admissions decisions. Yet, despite the odds, they chose him. And beyond full tuition and living expenses, the university also awarded him $5,000 per summer to support research, internships, or graduate-level coursework.

💡 Throughout his admissions journey at IVYonaire, he worked closely with our mentors and a former Head of Stanford Admissions, refining his application and crafting his essays.

Asilbek was a research assistant to an NYU professor, contributing to a youth entrepreneurship study. He also co-founded SAT Makon, a prep platform that has helped thousands of students improve their SAT scores. Beyond academics, he founded an economics community.

It wasn’t about checking boxes or following a script - it was about building something real, step by step.

Now, UChicago sees in him what we saw from the start.

- Yes, strong SAT English can compensate IELTS score for your consideration

This year, we received a very competitive pool of applicants, and it wasn’t easy to choose. If you don’t get an interview invite, please know it doesn’t mean you’re not strong enough, we just have very limited capacity and can’t take everyone on board.

📢 Final Results: Financial Aid Full Support Program

After weeks of careful evaluation, we’ve officially selected the students for this year’s most selective Financial Aid Program to date.

🔥 With an acceptance rate of just ~2%, this has been the most competitive round in the last 3 years. Even students with SAT scores above 1550, Olympiad achievements, and strong profiles were not admitted due to the incredibly high standard.

🙌 To those who got selected, congratulations! You’ve earned your spot in a 7-month fully funded journey that will guide you step-by-step through the admissions process.

📌 A few applicants have been placed on the waitlist. We’ll be finalizing waitlist decisions within the next 2–3 days, in case any spots open up.

Responsibilities

- Help high school students brainstorm, plan, and scale extracurricular activities
- Guide projects from idea to national/international impact & track progress
- Coordinate with the IVYonaire team and share updates on student achievements

Requirements

- English level C1 / IELTS 7.0+ (or equivalent)
- Experience leading national or international-level activities, initiatives, or activism projects
- Part-time availability (5+ hrs/day, Mon–Sat)
- Teaching/mentoring background preferred
