🇾🇪/🇮🇱🗞 The Washington Post reported that Gideon Golber, the executive director of Eilat port in southern Israel, stated: “Houthi (Ansar Allah) attacks on cargo ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden have completely paralyzed the port, resulting in a 90 percent decrease in its activity. These Houthi attacks not only threaten shipping routes but have also targeted the Eilat port itself in multiple operations.”

— Golber explained that the leaders of the regime have informed representatives from the Israeli Ministry of Economy, Transport, and Finance that it is impossible to continue paying salaries and taxes to employees without any operating income. He confirmed that the port has been losing approximately four million shekels ($1.18 million) per month for the past 19 months.
