If you look at the Dutch Judiciary's website, you will see that many former court locations and district (cantonal) courts are listed as "abolished" or "closed."

The official explanation

According to the Dutch government and the Judiciary, the main reasons are:

Centralization of the judicial system.

More efficient organization.

Digitalization of legal procedures.

The interpretation that these changes are part of a broader international agenda or are intended to create a centralized control system is 'a political or personal opinion for which there is no generally accepted evidence'.
