Сегодня вспоминаем слово с похожим значением - estimate.
Estimate -
это про цифры. Трудозатраты, необходимые мощности, вероятность провала - в числовом выражении.To estimate - оценивать количество ресурсов
Estimate - то, во сколько попугаев вы оценили свою задачу.
Estimation - процесс оценки количества ресурсов.
Assess
с цифрами - это всегда что-то точное. Штраф, количество leaked data, стоимость актива.Assess
без цифр - оценивать.You can assess damages, risks, vulnerabilities, tasks - это про проведение анализа.
