Когда люди узнают, что мой муж - программист, а я веду английский для ИТ, они часто реагируют мол "ну всё понятно".😳

Но давайте по порядку. Больше 4 лет назад ко мне обратилась прекрасная девушка, рассказала, что работает разработчиком и хочет пройти собеседование. Опыта именно ИТ запросов у меня не было, но мы обе была готовы попробовать. И вот, помню: 2 часа ночи, нужно подготовить занятие про event loop, и муж 4 раза с кучей уточняющих вопросов рассказывает все детали этого процесса, пока мне не стало действительно понятно.

С тех пор каждую неделю у меня было по 2-8 занятий с ИТ учениками в неделю. Если посчитать в среднем, это 4 часа подготовки + 4 часа практики в неделю. 8 часов * 52 недели * 4 года - это более 1,5 тыс часов вникания во флоу разработки.

За это время я поработала с разработчиками с разным стеком технологий, с тестировщиками, аналитиками, тех и тим лидами. И, да, я искренне люблю читать статьи на тему, копаться в этой информации, искать классные фразы и разбираться в деталях.

Помогает ли мне муж? Да, безусловно. Он поддерживает меня и иногда может дать совет. А иногда и сам приходит за советом: как более ёмко написать комментарий или как красиво пнуть службу поддержки инструмента.

Мы, как и все пары, рассказываем друг другу про то, как дела на работе. И, наверное, без него я бы никогда не начала работать именно в этой области.

Но все занятия пишу сама 😁 разговариваю на уроках тоже сама. И в чатиках со студентами - тоже я.
Могу поддержать разговор на самые разные темы, но самое главное - помочь своим студентам подобрать нужные слова для рабочих ситуаций.
