URGENT Action Required
Dear Bot Developer,
We previously wrote to inform you that Apple has found @fStikBot in violation of App Review Guidelines 4.7 and 3.1.1 because it accepts payments for digital goods and services directly from customers without relying on Apple's in-app purchase mechanism.
Telegram Stars are now live – allowing you to sell digital goods and services in your bots and mini-apps in full compliance with Apple and Google guidelines.
Starting on June 12, all payments for digital goods and services in bots and mini apps will have to be carried out exclusively in Telegram Stars. Telegram's commission for Stars is less than 5% — and you get a 35% discount when you promote your bot or mini app with Telegram ads using Stars.
Since Telegram has to follow the Guidelines imposed on us by the app stores, failure to comply with these changes will result in the suspension of @fStikBot for most of your customers. (Note that your bots and mini apps must also comply with Google's Guideline 4 and Apple's Guideline 3.1.3.b..)
The API documentation has been updated to reflect these changes so that you can amend your bots and mini-apps accordingly (see our detailed guide).
If you encounter technical issues, please contact @BotSupport and include the hashtag #stars in your message.
⚠️ Interfaces to review your bot’s Star balance, place subsidized ads on Telegram for Stars, and receive rewards will become available later this month.
You can find more details about payments for digital goods in the Payments Section of our Terms of Service for Bot Developers.
⚠️ Payments for physical goods and services remain unchanged.

FINAL NOTICE: YOUR BOT CAN BE BLOCKED SOON
Dear Bot Developer,
Apple has informed us that your bot @uno9bot is in violation of App Review Guidelines 4.7 and 3.1.1, because it accepts payments for digital goods and services directly from customers without relying on Apple's in-app purchase mechanism.
To address this report, our moderators have examined your bot and confirmed Apple's findings as of June 12. As previously announced, we have rolled out Telegram Stars, an in-app currency users can acquire from Telegram using standard Apple and Google in-app purchases and then use to buy digital goods and services from you.
In order to comply with store guidelines, your bot must either immediately switch to only accepting Telegram Stars as payment for digital products, or remove any paid digital products from your bot. This includes instances where your bot itself or its integration with Telegram are being sold as a paid tool or service.
This is the final warning to update your app. Should you fail to do so within the next 48 hours, your bot or mini app will become inaccessible to the majority of its users.
These changes are needed for your bot to continue operating on the Telegram platform because Telegram must comply with Apple’s and Google’s guidelines. More information about payments for digital products can be found in Telegram’s Terms of Service for Bot Developers and our Bot API Reference Documents for digital payments.
Should you encounter a technical issue while implementing Stars as your payment method, please contact @BotSupport and include the hashtag #stars in your message.
