🌐 On November 14-15, the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow hosted the International Research Conference "The Future of Diplomacy and Diplomatic Services" as part of the Russian 2024 #BRICS Chairmanship.

👥 The event was attended by rectors of diplomatic service institutes of the association and partner countries, heads of authoritative think tanks. During the sessions, they discussed various aspects of diplomacy and exchanged experiences in training and skills development of foreign service officers amid the challenges posed by the formation of a multipolar world.

🇮🇳 The Indian delegation at the meeting was led by Amb. Raj Kumar Srivastava, Dean of the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

🤝 On the sidelines of the conference, the Russian and Indian representatives held bilateral talks on issues of mutual interest.

🎬 On December 4, the 30th International Film Festival (KIFF) kicked off in Kolkata.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 The opening ceremony was attended by Head of the Kolkata branch of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots Irina Malysheva.

💃 At the invitation of choreographer Dona Ganguli, Malysheva presented Russian dance culture as part of a mass dance flash mob.

📆 The KIFF will be held from December 4 to 11.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin arrived on an official visit to the Republic of India.

In New Delhi, issues of Russian-Indian cooperation in the economic, socio-cultural, educational and technological spheres, as well as the further development of inter-parliamentary dialogue will be discussed.

Meetings of the Chairman with the Indian leadership and a visit to both houses of the Parliament of India are planned.
