Over 1,000 participants have registered, sharing plenary, invited talks, and poster presentations. I’ve already witnessed some truly fascinating discussions.
Conferences like this are always inspiring — they showcase the latest advances and achievements in plasma research, while also creating opportunities to exchange ideas and foster new collaborations.
It was a pleasure reconnecting with my collaborators and former colleagues. We discussed many ideas and explored future directions for joint research.
Special moments included meeting esteemed colleagues such as Professors Masaharu Shiratani, Alexander Fridman, Pankaj Attri, Nikola Skoro, Quan-Zhi Zhang, Zhitong Chen, Nagendra Kaushik, Vikas Rathore and Romolo Laurita. 🙌
Looking forward to even more exciting talks and fruitful discussions in the coming days! 🔬🌍

Saraton hujayralaridagi PD-L1 va PD-L2 immun nazorat oqsillari immun hujayralari faolligini boshqarishda muhim rol o‘ynaydi va immun retseptori PD1 oqsili bilan bog'lanishi saraton hujayralari tomonidan “himoya mexanizmi (don't eat me signal)” sifatida ishlatiladi. Tadqiqotimizda sovuq atmosferik plazma (SAP) tomonidan oksidlanish oqsillarni bog'lanishiga qanday ta’sir ko‘rsatishini molekulyar dinamika (MD) simulyatsiyalari yordamida o‘rgandik. Natijalarimiz SAP ta’sirida oksidlanish kuchayishi PD-1 va uning ligandlari (PD-L1/PD-L2) o‘rtasidagi bog‘lanishni zaiflashtirishini ko‘rsatdi. Bu esa saratonga qarshi immunitet hujayralarini faolligini kuchaytirishda yangi strategiya sifatida foydalanish mumkin.

The immune checkpoint proteins PD-L1 and PD-L2 play a crucial role in regulating the activity of immune cells, and their binding with PD-1 is often exploited by cancer cells as a “don’t eat me” signal. In our study, we used molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to investigate how cold atmospheric plasma (CAP)-induced oxidation affects these protein interactions. Our findings show that increasing oxidation levels caused by CAP weaken the binding between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2). This suggests a promising new strategy to enhance the activity of immune cells against cancer.
