This Saturday, July 26th at 20:00, we're watching 'Khamosh Pani' ('Silent Waters', 2003) — a movie by Pakistani director Sabiha Sumar, known for exploring themes of gender, patriarchy and fundamentalism in Pakistan.
Ayesha lives in a village of Punjab province with her son Saleem. Slow life forcedly changes, when prime minister is hanged by by Zia-ul-Haq, the new military ruler who has promised to enforce Islamic law. Two activists come to the village and gather men to encourage them to fight for creation of a stronger Islamic state, and gain following among youth, including Saleem. Ayesha is triggered by her son's transformation, and dark memories start haunting her.
Content warnings:suicide, mention of rape, forced marriage, religious trauma, ethno-religious hate.
This event is non-commercial. All donations will be used to cover the rent. Recommended donation is 20 lari, but you still can come if you don't have any money!

Если вы сейчас проживаете непростой период адаптации, чувствуете тревогу, усталость и одиночество, то приходите в наше теплое, поддерживающее пространство.
В кругу единомышленников и вместе с профессиональным психологом обсудим:

This Sunday, 27th of July we're holding weekly meeting of the Ceramics Workshop!
We're waiting for everyone who is curious to try themselves in ceramics regardless of current skills and experience.
During the workshop we're going to:
• Offer all the materials for molding;
• Explore and create the forms you are interested in;
• Paint them the way you like;
• Teach the basics of pottery or just give you some creative space and help with making your piece secure;
• Simply chat, heal with art and support each other's beginnings;
• Fire your ceramics in two weeks and give them back to you so you could live together!⚡️

Малая группа до 5 человек для точечной, бережной работы с последствиями эмиграции: тревогой, потерями, ощущением разрыва с прошлым. Практика основана на методе EMDR — десенсибилизации и переработки движениями глаз.

⏱️ Длительность — 2 часа + поддержка после встречи по необходимости.
⚠️ Ограничения — в каких случаях лучше записаться на личную сессию. Не подойдёт:
- при нестабильном состоянии;

Формат не предполагает глубокой терапии — работа точечная, с акцентом на облегчение актуального состояния.
