I've been struggling with drawing these days tbh, especially faces...I've been drawing SO MANYY and today isn't an exception, whipped out the good old default brushes for these studies (brush is blotchy from the calligraphy section in procreate)

I'm still reading the WITCH comics and to be honest I'm not really liking how the story is evolving, so far Hay Lin at least is the only character that's kinda staying true to herself, quite disappointing sigh

I'll probably rant about how much the plot worsened after the Ragorlangs arc once I finish reading 😭 I think some of the (bad) choices they've done might've been influenced by Winx, cuz they just don't make sense in the witch world and looked like a gimmick to make toys rather than actual meaningful additions (like the fuckass bus. And the mascotte. And the horrible new transformations. And the hot pink magical instruments. WHY. WHYYY I HATE IT)

I'll do my research later though cuz obviously I was a kid when this all went down so I wouldn't have the context, this is just a theory (though it's probably worse than this since I found out Cornelia's relationship choices were decided WITH A PUBLIC POLL. Who the fuck had this idea what the hell)

If I hear ANYONE say Winx is worse than witch I'm going to throw hands. Not because Winx is better but because both are very much flawed lol

Last message about it I swear (for now) but I'm really disappointed with how they've done dirty to my girl Taranee, she was the best written character out of all of them up until she signed up to that damned dance school
She wasn't this careless before, she actually fought to be with Nigel and they had such a cute relationship, then she just up and left him without a reason? 😭 Just for a crush that wasn't even developed later?? And they never actually showed if she decided to go through with the breakup, just never mentioned Nigel again?? What the fuck??? I'm so mad what
Not even going to mention the hot mess Irma's relationships are since she bonds with somebody and the writers just decide to never mention that again and pair her with a random ass guy who was barely mentioned before
And same for Matt I don't know why he's an almost completely changed character now 😭 though I could get behind that at least
