CIP-001: Candy Presale Unlocks (Early Settlement Proposal) has passed with a supermajority vote.


Details around Voting

• Eligibility criteria - everyone (900) who participated and won an allocation in the presale raffle
• Total votes - 717
• Votes breakdown - 67.92% voted in favour, 25.24% voted against, 6.83% chose to abstain


What this means for $CANDY?

• Give presale participants immediate access to the unlocked tokens of their $CANDY allocation
• Immediate 9.68% allocation unlock
• Removal of future presale unlock risk
• The remaining tokens are deposited in the ‘growth rewards pool’ contract
• The Growth rewards have a 6 month cliff and a monthly linear vesting of 8.3 years.

Passing of CIP-001 is a high-level positive signal for Candy, as it completely eradicates all future speculation, uncertainty and any bearish sentiment originating from the future unlocks of its ~90% supply. Overall, as an outcome we get ‘decisiveness’ + reduced uncertainty.
