Five hours ago, an attacker stole 2 million BNB (~$566M USD) from the Binance Bridge. During that time, I've been working closely with multiple parties to triage and resolve this issue. Here's how it all went down.

Yesterday $FTM pumped 20% and the chain was a mess, today it's worst, not because of users usage but because of XEN, few bots generate mass transactions to mint token on fake wallets and use lot of gas. This kill the chain and make it unusable and very expensive transaction (sometime >2 FTM 😂).
I saw that XEN claim 4.5M wallets minted on FTM chain, LMAO, there is probably not more than 10k real users on this chain (you just have to watch last tx in ftmscan to see that 95% are bots on this chain)
Each time XEN come on a new chain, same mess (happened on BSC few weeks ago, gwei sky rocket for few hours)
The chart above is the daily transactions on FTM chain these last days, you can see that yesterday 300k tx less because the chain is unusable and it should have grown because of pump and good news yesterday, the XEN bots mess make the chain unusable for real users and make tx very expensive.
