As a Marxist noticed an interesting thing while I was rewatching the series again. Hare supports racist sentiments towards the wolf and declares that he needs to be kicked out of the forest. However, he does this not because he believes that he is dangerous, but out of personal gain, in order to later get his lair. In fact, he acts like a politicians. They create or support certain sentiments in society, whether it is hatred of migrants or a decrease in the influence of the state on business, because it is beneficial to them. In other words: just like in real life, his chauvinistic ideas have a material basis

I think I am starting to hate anime. I realised that most anime that i watched and that comes out today are shit. The only one that i genuinely enjoyed was Ikoku Nikki and it didn't even felt like anime but more like a nicely animated slice of life movie series
