Draft recommendations for vaccine education modules to be used in schools are under consideration. If adopted, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education would work to introduce these modules into middle and high school health and science classes. Attend the Paradise Valley Board Meeting Thursday

Paradise Valley School Board has an item on the agenda to move public comment to the end of the meeting to silence voices. They believe those showing up at the beginning of the meeting should not hear any negative comments about the district.

This shift will move all public comments to be heard AFTER the board votes on agenda items, thus defeating the purpose of public comment! Please join us Thursday, August 24th at 7 pm and respectfully voice your concern.

Hobbs issued an executive order announcing the continuation of the Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership on Monday which happens to be National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day.

ASAP is the statewide council on substance abuse and prevention, treatment and recovery efforts.

Hobbs noted her prior work as a social worker and emphasized the importance of a support system for people struggling with substance abuse.
