Critical Voting Information for Election day (Nov 8th)

Please forward this to everyone you know that is going to vote in-person in Maricopa county on election day.
You can also post to social media as well.
In Maricopa County, we will only be using tabulators on election day. In 2020, one particular voting site lost over 1,000 votes while using these tabulators. Here’s what we need to do to prevent that from happening again.

Fill out your ballot carefully. Read the directions!!

Please don’t over vote (if the ballot says vote for 2 only vote for 2 Republicans- if the ballot says vote for 5 - vote the 5 Republicans) and make sure you color within the ovals.

You can use any pen that you want...black or blue to ensure the tabulator can read the mark.

If you have trouble coloring within the ovals, every polling site has an ICX (Accessible Voter Device) which is an accessible voting machine with a touch screen to vote and when you touch the screen to choose your candidate it automatically fills in your circles and produces a perfect ballot.

To vote, follow these steps:

Look at the tabulator before you put in your ballot and note the number in the bottom left hand of the window.
Insert your ballot
Look for the check mark in the window.
If you don’t see a check mark, read the entire error message, you might have to scroll down. Fix your ballot and go back to step one.
Look at the tabulator after you put in your ballot and note the number in the bottom left hand of the window.
After voting, the number should go up by one.

If the number doesn't increase, note the location where you voted, the name of the worker running the tabulators, any device number that you can see on the tabulator and how many ballots were recorded.
