Now that online library databases have been exposed, especially due to the increased amount of time students are spending on devices, the American Library Association and others with a financial interest have infiltrated family dynamics to protect their filth pimping. What would any opposition to tradition be without a benign sounding organization? “EveryLibrary” fits the bill. EveryLibrary is an organization to track, target, and oppose pro-family library legislation. How dare any parent tries to insulate their own children from adult material while in a public school!
At this point most parents haven’t heard of EveryLibrary, however it has its tentacles in Arizona. Just a few weeks ago, EveryLibrary posted an announcement about those pesky parents wanting to see what their kids are learning in school. Oh my!

In an effort to pretend to address the issue with the Arizona School Boards Association, Udall put forward legislation to require that their board meetings be open to the public. AzSBA is a non-profit organization, not a governmental body. They don’t make all of their decisions in quarterly board meetings. And, I don’t really think that’s a requirement that the state should even be making.
What can and should be done is the bill that Senator Kelly Townsend sponsored, which prohibits school districts from using taxpayer funding to pay for membership in a state association. Her bill #SB1011 passed both the Education and Rules Committees, but Senate President Karen Fann has not allowed it to be heard by the Committee of the Whole.
Please email President Fann at [email protected] to request that she put #SB1011 up for a vote!
