Bravo, St. Mary's High School!

Update [re: private schools mask mandates & jab shilling] : St. Mary's Catholic High School in Phoenix issued a beautiful letter regarding masks. This should be the stance from the Diocese of Phoenix schools superintendent. Note the comment about teachers need to see the "wheels turning." - Peggy McClain

All Tucson Unified schools will now require students, teachers, and staff to wear masks on campus, the district's governing board voted Monday morning.

The governing board voted unanimously to put the policy in place during an emergency meeting this morning. The policy goes directly against a law signed by Gov. Doug Ducey that prevents mask mandates at schools.

Update on employee religious exemption from covid shot:
I spoke with an attorney in Florida who said that employers are asking if the objection is religious in nature and whether it is sincerely believed. The concern might be that if someone copies and pastes a statement about a religious belief regarding vaccines, then it may not be sincere in the eyes of the Court.
If I were to write my statement, I would make it in my own words and establish that it is a sincere belief of mine regarding my religion. For me, it would be the fact that I am pro-life and these shots have roots in aborted cells, whereas the influenza shot is derived from egg, in my understanding.
I also personally take issue with the fact that we are now seeing that you need this documentation of being COVID vaccinated in order to buy and sell as well as to be employed. That is very close to the warning in Revelation 9 and 13, and I very sincerely will not take this because of those reasons, as well. For me, it is definitely religious in nature and very sincere. That is what I would put on my statement if I were to be writing one.

Now as to my personal belief, I don't think you need a religious exemption or any other explanation as to why you will not take a vaccine. However, we are a legislature of 90 members and we need a majority vote to pass legislation. Unfortunately we did not have a majority that would be willing to vote to prevent employers from mandating this. This language about religious exemption is from the Civil Rights Act and was as close as I could get to get the necessary votes to at least have that in place. However it is not a reflection of my own personal belief as to what should happen. Please do not assume that I believe it is enough. It by no means is but I went with it as a better than nothing approach when it comes to putting something into statute, since we didn'thave the votes for an all out ban. From this point, I recommend you hire an attorney to protect your rights against this severe violation.
