So what happened to the past pure titans before king fritz raised the walls? Did Ymir turn them back to humans or do they just roam around??

Can people who control the founding titan turn subjects of Ymir back to normal human just as easily they did by making them pure titans? Whenever wars are over they don't really need pure titans roaming around. Do they just keep them in one big warehouse and let them out whenever they want to conquer cities or something? Maybe they just hang around Eldian towns doing construction, farming lands, transporting goods, etc. when they're not eating non-eldian humans. Imagine what humans could accomplish with a bunch of giants doing every day things faster and stronger they would be like modern AI robots.
