This is what a cast aluminum blower impeller that's rated for 3600 rpm looks like after you run it at 5400 rpm. Just because the MOTOR says it can run 5400 does not mean you can run the impeller that fast. Rather than finding a leak in the manifold, they decided to just increase the VFD max frequency from 60hz to 90hz. Got a call from customer that chunks of alumimum fins were found in the housing. Ya think?
