Honestly relearning is much more difficult than just learning because you basically you have to break the old stereotypes and you have to step over your pride because you know you're an educated doctor, right? you are an educated person and you already know who dares to tell you that you know wrong.

I'm so glad you bring up this point, because some people might think that we're just way out there and we're trying to sell something or whatever, but that's not really the case, I mean of course we have to make a living like everyone else, but it's really hard to come to this opinion and talk about it because everyone you're against almost everyone and like you said, it's this process where you have to relearn because you go down to the root level, right? and we have so much knowledge and understanding that's built upon that these germs or viruses cause a disease and then once you find out that that premise is false, then all of that information built up upon it, right? you have to go through and overturn and rethink and come up with a new understanding, and it is like a process that takes time and while you're going through it, it's difficult to talk about these issues because you find yourself saying stuff that's no longer consistent with what you know to be true, right? so it's very difficult to go through this and this is a big part of the reason why not as many doctors as you might expect are having these kind of realizations because it's such an uphill battle It's swimming against the current and there has to be a really strong motivation to do this process.
