Since OneUI switched up what UI even means and moved from plain grey to a darker shade with loads of blur, the new theme will be up to you lot, the subscribers of this channel, to decide.

Hi Vanillers , because of the new Telegram update I’m gonna delay some theme releases for a while. I just wanna make sure everything looks clean and works without bugs. I really appreciate your patience, I know it’s been a long time since I dropped any new themes. The reason is I already knew they were gonna change the design, but honestly the new look came out messy and full of issues. So yeah, sorry again, for now I’ll only share the ones that are fully ready.

Important note: if you’re on version 12.0.1 and your old themes are acting up, don’t use any of the Vanilla themes built for version 11 or below because they won’t work right.

Hey everyone 👋

So, I’ve got some good news and some bad news.

The bad news first… there won’t be any new regular high quality handmade themes for now. Telegram’s been changing a lot lately and they’re putting most of their focus on premium stuff. Basically they care more about selling color packs than letting users enjoy their favorite custom themes. Now you’re forced to see whatever random “gift color” someone bought 😅.
Most of the theme variables are getting hardcoded or locked to premium, which makes it a real pain to build themes that work smoothly without bugs. I might still make a few new ones from time to time, but not as often as before. It’s just getting harder than it used to be.

Now for the good part!
All the old themes I made are staying alive. I’ll keep updating them, fixing bugs, and making sure they work with every Telegram update. That’s 100% guaranteed.

Telegram’s clearly trying to make premium users feel special with all these interface changes, and honestly there’s not much I can do about that. But I’m hoping the upcoming 12.2.2 update (which brings a big UI change) will make things a bit better. Maybe they’ll finally add proper variables for the new stuff they keep adding.
