In the Soviet Union, if the police had sent you to the gulag that was your fate. There was no challenging that or raising objections, it was set in stone. In the bible, this revocation of free will certainly wasn't seen as sinister at all, rather it was presented as a test of faith and loyalty to Christ.

You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. (Hebrews 10:34)

Joyfully accept your fate when the state freezes your bank account, seizes your family estate, and throws you in prison. Joyfully turn the other cheek and bless those who persecute you. It goes without saying that Christian theology was the hidden bedrock of communist power.

The doctors of the Church said that property is theft. St. John Chrysostom himself was a complete communist, though of course his was not communism of the capitalist or the industrial period. There are good grounds for asserting that Communism has Christian or Judeo-Christian origins. But there soon came a time in which Christianity was adapted to the contemporary kingdom of Caesar. Matthew 7:21-23

Read that very carefully. Those who profess Jesus Christ by name only are viewed as nothing in contrast to the ones who did the will of God without proclaiming his name. Could it be that Lenin and Stalin were closer to Christ's Word than most of today's so-called Christians are? There is a very good possibility of that being the case.

Not in the modern sense, but in the largely metaphysical sense. All physical pagan gods and their representative iconography was branded as “rank superstition” by the church, thus destroyed, alongside the temples of their innocent believers. Anyone who worshipped their own gods were punished by death. Anyone who refused to worship the invisible one was slaughtered, beheaded, and put to shame. We can very much see how this is simply two-thirds of the present atheist agenda in its pursuit of total war against all idolatry and superstition. They were the original league of militant atheists. In swaying the planet to kneel before nothingness, Catholics and Protestants did more harm to classical theism than today's atheist roleplayers could ever ask for.

The term 'paganism' has the same meaning in the religious world of thought of the Christian as the terms 'class' and 'capitalist class' do in the political world of thought of the Marxist. These two terms also share the characteristic that they extend beyond the domain for which they were originally coined. Thus, the term 'paganism' can acquire a political context in addition to its religious one. On the other hand, see how the concept of class often acquired an almost religious context in the intellectual world of Marxism. What both of these buzz words, paganism and class, truly have in common is their origin in Judaism. Anyone who believes in these Jewish distortions of paganism and class, or even allows themselves to go along either of them, acts against the interests of themselves, their people, and their race.
