Trump administration fires 2 immigration judges who blocked deportations of pro-Palestinian student activists.
Roopal Patel (Boston) dismissed case against Tufts student Rümeysa Öztürk.
Nina Froes (Chelmsford, MA) dismissed case against Columbia student Mohsen Mahdawi.
They were among 6 judges terminated Friday — part of over 100 immigration judge firings since Trump took office. Immigration judges serve under the DOJ and were still in probationary periods.
