▫️CPS decides to prosecute Tate brothers with additional sexual offences
Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in US & charged with multiple counts of rape – as CPS calls for them to be hauled to UK
The Crown Prosecution Service has decided to bring further charges against brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate in relation to four further victims.
The CPS has decided to prosecute Andrew Tate, 39, with seven further counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
The CPS has decided to prosecute Tristan Tate, 38, with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. The offending is alleged to have taken place between July 2010 and August 2017.
The suspects were arrested by the US Marshal Service in the United States of America on July 18, 2026.
Following their arrest in the US, prosecutors will be seeking extradition in relation to the original 21 charges and the further charges which we have decided to prosecute.
Malcolm McHaffie, Head of the Special Crime Division at the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — Council Bluffs police arrested a man from Des Moines in connection to an online child predator operation.
According to court documents, Thomas Stone allegedly initiated contact with a law enforcement officer posing as a minor online, and Stone was informed multiple times that he was talking with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.
The search warrant alleged Stone sent sexually explicit images and videos and asked for some in return. According to the Council Bluffs Police Department, Stone was arrested for grooming, phone dissemination of obscene materials to a minor, and sexual exploitation of a minor.

A Catholic cardinal touted as one of the favourites to replace Pope Francis said he was “stepping back” from office Tuesday after an AFP investigation revealed at least five women had accused him of sexual assault.

▫️Malaga ‘rape drug’ priest jailed for 52 years after sexually assaulting unconscious women and filming attacks
A CATHOLIC priest has been sentenced to over five decades in prison after a Malaga court found him guilty of drugging, sexually assaulting and secretly filming women over a four-year period.
The 35-year-old priest known as ‘Father Fran’ was convicted of four counts of sexual assault, including one count of sexual abuse and four counts relating to the illegal recording of his victims.
A judge ruled that the Velez-Malaga resident administered an unknown substance that caused women to lose consciousness before abusing them to ‘satisfy his desires.’
The man identified as Francisco J.C. has been sentenced to 52 years in prison for the sex crimes.
In addition to the prison sentence, the court has also ordered Father Fran to pay compensation to each of the victims for the psychological harm they suffered.
